Loudness without killing crest
One drum loop, three ways. The spikes are the transients. Turning a mix up is easy; keeping crest is the hard part, and it's the part that makes a record punch instead of sit there tired.
Quiet, but every hit is intact.
Loud, but the hits are gone — it's a solid block. It'll also distort once streaming services re-encode it.

The chain adjusts per song — a dark mix earns

the compressor bypassed. Every decision comes with its written reason, and a
balanced mix passes through untouched — it says that, too.
